Africa's all in one reading platform

Book Rion is Africa's all-in-one reading platform. Discover, buy and read books from local and global authors on your phone, or get physical copies delivered to your door in most Nigerian states.

Yes. On the free plan you can discover books, read reviews, organise your shelves, buy books and read offline, upload your own PDFs, swap books, add friends, and add one classic a month to your library. It's free forever, with no card required.

Standard gives you 5 classics a month, chapter summaries and action points, search by plot, and reading challenges and discussions. Premium adds unlimited classics, cross-device sync and 5% off delivery on physical books. A classic counts when you add it to your library, re-reading it is free, and the count resets on the 1st of each month. Subscriptions don't include ebooks sold by authors and bookstores; you buy those one at a time.

Thousands of titles, from public-domain classics to new books by Nigerian and African authors who sell on Rion Studio. Search by title, author, or a quote you remember. On Standard and Premium you can also search by describing the plot.

Yes. Authors and bookstores can list and sell digital and physical books through Rion Studio, our seller portal. We handle discovery, payments, and logistics — you keep the rights.
